Codes and conventions of radio trailers.

Radio trailers often use a T.V advert as a radio advert.

+ Voice over - Narrator outlines the narrative.
                     - Sometimes they pose questions that will be answered in the programme.
                     - Sometimes direct address is used "you" it intrigues the audience.

+ Extracts from the documentary are used.

+ Sound effects are used where appropriate.
     - Music bed also used where appropriate.

+ Slogan always used before scheduling information.

+ We are given scheduling information used at the end of the trailer.
    - Title, date and time, channel.

+ On average around 30-40 seconds.
